If I would like to make the best compliment to the singer, it would be: he has his own style.
You hear him singing, and you do not even to know the song - it's Daniel Lavoie.

Daniel Lavoie will for the first time perform in Moscow on May 11 2010 at the theater and concert hall CHCRW. This concert sensation is organized on demand by the public using the new technology «tours WEB 2.0».

It is impossible to tell about Daniel Lavoie in a few words, this is how extraordinarily multifaceted a person he is.

Those who have already been lucky enough to be at his concert «Solo» say that they feel as they have been his guests. While accompanying himself on the piano he sang the way people sing for friends – sincerely and simply. About himself, about his life and about the one who made the fire in the fireplace at his home…

An actor who was brilliant on the stage and on the silver screen as Frollo from «Notre Dame de Paris», Eugène Delacroix from the symphonic rock-opera «Sand and the Romantics», the Pilot from «The Little Prince» and a Romanian refugee from «The Book of Eve» 2002 (Histoire d'Ève).

A composer wearing many hats, who writes music for film and animated films, songs for such performers as Bruno Pelletier, Natasha St-Pier, Lara Fabian, Luce Dufault, Roch Voisine and Matt Laurent. From his “Le Bebe Dragon” albums Quebec toddlers learn French, and even the French, who are indifferent to children reissue these albums in France. The song «Ils s'aiment» («They love each other») which was written by Daniel in a flash of inspiration in virtually 10 minutes gives chills even to those who don’t understand French. The Russian audience knows it from Roman Viktiuk’s stage production of «Maids».

A gifted musician who after taking any musical instrument into his hands can play it just 15 minutes later.

A recipient of an endless number of international prizes and awards, including the certificate for the best performance of «Je t’aime», in his spare time he adores working in his garden and grows all the vegetables for his table by himself.

A singer whose magical and slightly hoarse voice charms with such power that his fans from various countries study French just in order to understand what he is singing about.

Always impeccably elegant, incredibly charming and an irrepressible romantic, Maestro Daniel with his slightly shy smile and warm and magical voice…
