If I would like to make the best compliment to the singer, it would be: he has his own style.
You hear him singing, and you do not even to know the song - it's Daniel Lavoie.

«Reading the texts by Brice, I envied him, because didn`t manage to find such images myself. This is a song that can be understood on the different levels: the father who speaks with his daughter, the mother - with her son, and a man - with his beloved one ...»

(Daniel Lavoie about the song «Violoncelle»)

Brice Homs is a French author, screenwriter and executive producer. He also writes the lyrics and novels.

Isabelle Boulay, Daniel Lavoie, Enzo Enzo, Florent Pagny, Michel Fugain, Fred Blondin, Sanseverino, Philippe Lavil, Sylvie Vartan, Romane Serda, Helene Ségara, Sofia Mestari, Marcio Faraco, Hugues Aufray, Sacha Distel, David Koven , Richard Bona ... Many artists  chose his lyrics for their songs and put it on the music.
His songs were included in American movies: «French Kiss» (Lawrence Kasdan), «The Devil Wears Prada» (David Frankel).
He was also a guitarist in many bands and performed with various artists in France, England and  United States.
His first novel, «Blue» (publisher - Flammarion) has received the praise by national criticics and three awards in the «best novel» category. Along with others artists he has been involved in the collective works in France and U.S.A., such as «Cajun Families of the Atchafalaya» and «De l'eau, de-ci de-là» (publisher - Gallimard).
As a scriptwriter and director, he worked in Hollywood with other famous directors and writers (Shane Black, Randa Haines, Brent Maddock, Ron Underwood and others).  In France, where his talents as a screenwriter are in great demand, he took part in the script by Olivier Lorelle and Rachid Bouchareb «Indigènes» - Caesar. It has won the award for «best screenplay» at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007 and received the Oscar nomination  in the «best foreign language film» category. Brice regularly works as an executive producer for American film studios and as a consultant in the field of production and promotion for the film and animation studios in Paris, Los Angeles and Montreal.
He is busy in movies and science fiction series for the famous French TV channels. He is the creator and also the «showrunner» of the police television series «Antigone 34»

(on France 2 channel in spring 2012).
Within ten years Brice Homs is being involved in developing of programs for the organization of international festivals in Louisiana (5 stages and more than 300,000 spectators), as well as for the famous World Music American Festivals. These festivals allow many French-speaking bands to perform in the United States for the first time (Paris combo, Sergent Garcia, Amadou and Maryam, Les yeux noirs, Marousse, Sally Nyolo, Rokia Traore, La rue Kétanou, Ceux qui marchent debout, Lodjo, Dobacaracol and others.)
All of this does not prevent the father of the huge family (he has 5 children!) to put himself in the work for humanitarian and public associations. Especially he worked very hard to spread the first book concerning AIDS for children - «Brenda a un petit dragon dans le sang» («Brenda has a little dragon in her blood») through the network united more than 300 associations in French-speaking Africa (with Biblionef and CRIPS) as well as over sending more than 10,000 new books to schools in Louisiana, affected by Katrina and Rita hurricanes, or for elementary schools in Harlem and  Bronx (together with New York).
Brice, along with Francis Cabrel and Zachary Richard, organized «SOS Music of New Orleans» concert in November 7, 2005.
